Delivery Information

Is there a minimum order for delivery?
For delivery, we require a £30 minimum value for online orders in order to courier this to you. Standard Delivery is free of charge if your order is over £80. We deliver on either Wednesday or Friday - this is to ensure that all your products are made fresh to order!


How long will delivery take?
All deliveries in London require 1 - 4 days to be processed and once processed, will arrive on your chosen delivery date (either Wednesday or Friday)


Where do you deliver to?
We deliver all over London and across the UK Mainland as well!
We do not deliver to international destinations including The Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands or Scottish Islands.


Tell me more about Nationwide deliveries.
If delivering to an address outside of London, we will pack your Alta Foods pouches in polystyrene foam boxes which are both waterproof and leakproof. These boxes are also manufactured to provide excellent thermal insulation and are certified to be food contact safe.
The box will also be packed with a freeze-pac to ensure temperatures are kept as low as possible during transit.
It is important to note that all deliveries outside of London may not arrive frozen. However, our meal pouches are pre-cooked, pre-packaged and kept below the danger zone for bacterial growth at all times (8°C) so please place them in the freezer upon receipt.
All nationwide deliveries are sent out on Tuesday or Thursday.


What delivery options are there?
We offer a standard courier fee which is added onto your total checkout bill for standard delivery (Wednesday or Friday)


How will my Alta Foods Pouch arrive?
Our Alta Foods pouches are dispatched from our H.Q frozen and are couriered within insulated cool boxes to keep your pouches at the lowest temperature possible.


Orders that have been dispatched.
Orders that have already been dispatched cannot be cancelled.


Can I return my product?
Unless there's something wrong with the item, unfortunately we can't offer a refund for any perishable items you change your mind about after your delivery.
When you shop online you have the right to a “cooling-off” period of 14 calendar days in the EU (Consumer Contacts Regulations) and 30 days in the UK (Consumer Rights Act 2015) whereby you can withdraw from the contract and return your purchases to the seller.  Perishable goods are not covered by these cooling-off periods, as they might not reasonably last as long as the stipulated 14-day or 30-day thresholds.
We are happy to edit your order and refund you before delivery of your order.

Accepting Nationwide Deliveries.
The courier we use will attempt to deliver the next day. However, due to the ongoing Covid-19 crisis, we have been informed that the courier cannot guarantee a specific time of delivery. In the case that the courier is unable to deliver, they will be unable to store your parcel in the correct environment.
Therefore, we ask that if you decide to place an order from us, please make sure you are at home for the majority of the day to avoid any missed deliveries.


Leaving your parcel in a safe place.
Please note that if you request your parcel to be left in a safe place this is entirely at your own risk and we will not be able to refund you if your items go missing
